Overview
The Kentucky Arts Council is providing a free Creative Industry Summit Series workshop called "Overview of Copyrights for Creatives." This event will provide an introduction to copyright law with a particular emphasis on how copyright impacts artists across disciplines. This webinar will help answer questions about the legal rights of artists and ensuring control over original artwork. Registrants are encouraged to submit their questions in advance. There will be a Q&A period during the webinar as well.

Hosted by Louisville Attorney Jeremy Beck
The law practice of Louisville attorney Jeremy Beck is focused on the arts. An active composer of classical music, Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law and earned a doctorate in music composition from the Yale School of Music. Awarded a residency at Copland House in 2026, his music has been presented by New York City Opera, the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra, Center for Contemporary Opera, and the Louisville Orchestra, among others.
