ABOUT
Brian Cook has served bravely as a firefighter for over 15 years. He loves his career, has a wonderful wife, two amazing kids and great friends who love and support him. Basically, he has it all. Until one emergency run changes everything. Brian can't seem to let go of the horrific event and begins to internalize it and other tragedies he has witnessed during his time with the fire service. As Brian slips deeper into depression, he begins to self-medicate and pushes everyone away. He now faces the biggest battle of his life - not the fire in the field, but the fire burning inside. Will he seek the help he needs from those who love him before it is too late and he loses everything?

MEET THE ARTIST
Bobby Lacer, Director
Bobby Lacer was born and raised in Kentucky, where he first found his love for the arts. He was actively involved in music and theatre throughout his high school and college years at the University of Kentucky. He won several state and national vocal contests and did vocal work for commercial and studio projects. He eventually signed with two record labels, as both a solo artist and member of a band.
After taking some time off to focus on family, he made his first appearance as an actor in film in 2018. One year later, he wrote his first script and produced his first film, sparking the creation of his production company, Little Chicago Pictures.
Lacer is now regarded as a rising star behind the camera, as a writer, producer, and director. Additionally, he still makes the occasional appearance on camera, but production has become his passion.
