LFS Short Film Slam IX
In May 2022, the ninth edition of the Short Film Slam delivered an eclectic mix of local filmmaking talent. Standouts included "Esperanza’s Turn," a heartwarming story of a young girl confronting a school bully, and "Dunn," a detective mystery that left the audience guessing. The crowd favorite, "Breath Body Becoming," explored memory and identity through stunning animation. The evening wrapped up with the awarding of the jury prize to "Dunn," and the post-film conversations carried the night’s energy well beyond the screening room.
